Kohima, 7 June (MTNews): The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has officially informed the heads of institutions regarding the upcoming Governor’s felicitation program. The event, scheduled to take place on 14 June 2023 at 11:00 a.m., will be held at Dr Imkongliba Ao Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima.
According to the notification, the program aims to recognize and honor the toppers, rank holders, achievers of Governor’s Awards in various categories for the HSLC and HSSLC Examinations 2023. The recipients of these accolades have been cordially invited to attend the ceremony. Additionally, the heads of institutions responsible for producing the toppers and rank holders have also been invited to join the event.
However, due to space constraints, the notification states that parents will not be invited this time. The heads of institutions have been requested to inform the respective toppers, rank holders, and achievers who passed out from their schools about the program and ensure their presence.
To streamline the coordination process, the notification specifies that the confirmed lists of attendees from each school should be sent via email to nagaboard@gmail.com no later than June 9, 2023, by 3:00 p.m. These lists will then be submitted to the Governor’s Secretariat.
All invitees are required to report to the venue at 10:30 a.m. and be seated by 10:45 a.m. The students have been advised to attend the program wearing their respective school uniforms.
