The Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has notified all registered Heads of Institutions that the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, and Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs have requested students to participate in the Youth Parliament competitions. The aim is to strengthen the roots of democracy, inculcate healthy habits of discipline, develop tolerance of divergent views, and familiarize the student community with the procedures and functioning of parliament.
Registration for the 4th edition on the NYPS portal is now open and can be accessed at https://nyps.mpa.gov.in/. All recognized educational institutions of the Board may register on the portal and organize Youth Parliament sittings.
