Mokokchung, November 26 (MTNews): On the occasion of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations of National Cadet Corps (NCC), the 25 Naga Bn NCC organized a Blood Donation Camp in the District Hospital, Mokokchung. The cadets of Senior Division and Senior Wing of NCC from Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung along with PI staff donated blood.
Speaking on the occasion, Col CST Swamy, CO, 25 Naga Bn NCC said, “NCC being the largest youth organization in the country, is engaged in various social initiatives like Blood Donation, Puneet Sagar Abhiyan (cleaning up of water bodies), and environmental awareness and Covid awareness.”
The event was presided over by Molo, the president of Mokokchung District Voluntary Blood Donors Association and the arrangements were made by the medical team headed by Dr HT Sangtam of District Hospital, Mokokchung who also distributed the Certificates and Blood Donor Badges to the donors.
