As part of the observance of World Hypertension Day, the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Mokokchung, conducted a Special NCD Screening Drive on 20th May 2025 at the premises of the DC Office, District Court, Food and Civil Supplies, and District Agriculture Office, Mokokchung.
During the special drive, blood pressure and blood sugar levels were tested free of charge. Informative leaflets on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) were also distributed.
The team, led by Dr. Limanaro, DPO (UIP & RCH), consisted of NCD staff and IEC personnel.
The department will continue the special screening drive until 16th June 2025, covering government offices and public places.
