The Nagaland Contractors’ & Suppliers’ Union (NCSU) Head Office Kohima held a meeting of its various Committees and Sub-Committees for the upcoming Golden Jubilee celebration, 50th year of existence of the Union at Hotel Japfü on August 26, 2025. Conveners and members of the committees along with presidents of the 16 district units attended the meeting.
Welcoming the members, NCSU President Pele Khezhie extended special appreciation to those who had travelled from the districts. He highlighted the latest developments of the committees and encouraged all members to sacrifice their time and energy for the successful celebration of this historic milestone, which is scheduled for later this year.
Khezhie stressed that the success of the Jubilee cannot be achieved by committees alone, but through the collective effort of all bona fide members. He also informed that some Union Ministers and state dignitaries would be invited as special guests for the celebration.
During the deliberations, senior members appreciated the Union for its charity initiatives both within and outside the Union.
On behalf of the committees, Dr. Povotso Lohe and Vixepu Swu participated in the discussions while NCSU District Unit presidents from Noklak, Phek, Chümoukedima, Meluri, and Kiphire also shared constructive suggestions for the success of the golden jubilee celebration, which were well noted for inclusion.
