NDPP 8 Western Angami AC holds induction program of new team

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) 8th Western Angami Assembly Constituency held an induction program for its newly elected office bearers for the tenure 2024–2027 on August 26 at the residence of Salhoutuonuo Kruse, Minister for Horticulture and Women Resource Development, in Kohima.


Addressing the induction program as the special guest, Kruse urged the party men and women to re-dedicate themselves to the welfare of the party and the constituency as a whole. She also encouraged them to work in close coordination to achieve the party’s goals and manifesto.

Further, Kruse assured the gathering that the NDPP government is committed to serving the people under its motto ”Facta Non Verba” and under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio and NDPP president Chingwang Konyak.

Delivering a short speech, Mhiesilhukho Yalie, president of the NDPP 8th Western Angami A/C, called upon the office bearers to remain united and work cohesively to achieve the aims, objectives, and principles of the NDPP.

The NDPP 8 Western Angami AC will be headed by Mhiesilhukho Yalie as president and Khrieto Dahuo as general secretary. The Women’s Organization will be led by Kazheli Tungoe as president, the Youth Organization by Vimekhrielie Krose as president, and the Agri & Allied Organization by Vikongu Khate as president.

The nomination report was presented by Voto Whiso, convenor of the nomination committee. Earlier, the program was led by Neivikuolie Nicholas Khatsii, while Rev Vikedo Seyie, Pastor of CRC Mengujuma, invoked God’s blessings.
