Kohima, July 31 (MTNews): Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) of 18 Chozuba Assembly Constituency on July 30 had a consultative meeting with all the office bearers of State Level, District Level and the frontal organizations at Chetheba Town Hall under Phek district.
A press release from the party stated that Kudecho Khamo, NDPP Official Candidate in his speech, acknowledged the party workers for their understanding and unflinching support.
He told the party workers that the political situation has created a situation for the party workers to be more alert, united and committed and appealed to them to remain calm and intact.
Meanwhile, he expressed confidence in getting party ticket as tickets will be given not on the basis of seniority or MLA but only on the basis of ‘winning chance’ and he stated that the grassroots will be the party high command.
Towards this, he appealed to all the rank and file of the party to rededicate itself to the principles and policies of the party and further appealed the party to work hard in order to ensure victory in the forthcoming general election while assuring of bringing positive change with a new vision.
Following the meeting, the house unanimously resolved on three points. The house unanimously resolved to re-affirm its fullest support and cooperation to the leadership of Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister Nagaland and Chingwang Konyak, President NDPP.
The house resolved to reaffirm the resolution of the party adopted by the NDPP Phek region on April 4, 2022 at Kohima, the Resolution of the 18 Chozuba Assembly Constituency on May 28, 2022 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima and the resolution of the 18 Chozuba Assembly Office Bearers meeting at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall on May 25, 2022 and “reaffirm its unflinching support to the leadership of its NDPP Official Candidate Kudecho Khamo.”
The house unanimously resolved to rededicate for implementation of the party ideologies, principles, policies and programs at all levels appealed to all the party rank and file and party supporters to remain firm and intact so as to face challenges together in the days to come.
