Kohima, February 3 (MTNews): A corrigendum for the 35 Aghunato Assembly Constituency was issued this morning following the release of the NDPP official candidates for the upcoming general elections to the NLA.
According to the corrigendum released by the party head Chingwang Konyak, “the official candidate for the 34 Aghunato A/C is Ikuto Zhimomi, and not as rendered (Pukhayi Sumi).”
This was further clarified by the Party President and Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio during the NDPP ticket ceremony cum campaign launch on February 3 at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima who informed that Pukhayi Sumi had “volunteered on health grounds.”
