Kohima, 9 February (MTNews): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) expressed sadness to learn of the demise of Kakuto Shohe, Secretary CEB, who passed away on 9 February 2024 in Guwahati, Assam.
NDPP president Chingwang Konyak said in a message that, as a political activist, late Kakuto Shohe devoted his career in the service of the people from his time in the NPF and till his death. As an active member of the NDPP though for a brief period, late Kakuto took up all responsibilities bestowed upon him with dedication and enthusiasm, Konyak said.
“In his demise not just the NDPP family but the Nagas as a whole have lost a great leader whose service and devotion will be missed dearly,” the NDPP president said.
He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God grant strength and solace to bear the immeasurable loss.
