Kohima, 17 March (MTNews): With the Election Commission of India (ECI) announcing the elections to the Lok Sabha from the Nagaland Parliamentary constituency and the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) coming into effect, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has directed all rank and file of the party to strictly adhere to the MCC and election rules.
Any action which is in contravention of the rules and the MCC will invite strict disciplinary action, NDPP president Chingwang Konyak informed.
“All Members of the Party including the Candidate, Elected Members, Chairpersons of PSUs and the Central Executive Board (CEB) Members are advised to strictly follow the Model Code of Conduct in letter and spirit, while upholding the principles of the Party as enshrined in the Party Constitution,” the NDPP president added.
