Mokokchung, August 29 (MTNews): The NDPP has instructed its members not to self-declare as candidates for the General Assembly Election because the election has not yet been announced and the candidate list has not been finalized.

 

Any party member(s) proclaiming themselves as NDPP candidates or participating in such events without the party’s official approval will face disciplinary action, according to the NDPP press release.

 

Nagalandwill be holding its next state assembly elections in early 2023. The state BJP unit is going all out to continue its winning streak in the Northeastern state, with the BJP and Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio’s Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) moving forward with a 40:20 seat-sharing agreement.
