The NDPP Peren Region has officially expressed its support for the resolution passed by the NDPP Central Executive Board (CEB) meeting held on 12th September 2025 at the party’s central headquarters in Kohima.

The resolution welcomed the appeal of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), which called on Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio, regional-minded sitting and former legislators, Members of Parliament, and functionaries of like-minded regional parties to consider joining or rejoining the NPF. The move aims to consolidate a united front to advance regional interests and safeguard the rights of the Naga people.

Jenggai Pamei, President of NDPP Peren Region, stated that after consultations with the legislators of the 6 Tening and 7 Peren constituencies, the region fully affirms support for the resolution.

He noted that this decision aligns with the larger interests of the party and validates the CEB’s direction regarding a potential merger with NPF to ensure its successful implementation.

The declaration underscores the NDPP Peren Region’s commitment to strengthening regional unity and advancing the collective political agenda under the NPF umbrella.
