NDPP welcomes court order dismissing disqualification case

The High Court of Delhi has dismissed the legal case pertaining to the disqualification matter of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), following the demise of the petitioner,  Zeneisiile Ate Loucii.

The case, titled “Smt. Zeneisiile Ate Loucii vs. The Election Commission of India & Anr” [W.P.(C) No. 2016/2019], was dismissed as per the Court’s order dated October 8, 2025.

According to a statement issued by the NDPP Media & Communication Committee, the family members of the petitioner decided not to pursue the case after her passing, leading to the dismissal of the petition by the Honourable Court.

“The Party extends its appreciation to the Honourable Court for passing the order and at the same time, appreciation is extended to the family members for not pursuing the case,” the NDPP stated.
