Wokha, July 31 (MTNews): Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) Wokha Region on Saturday, July 30, organized a mass plantation drive under the theme “Plant Trees, Save Earth”, in honour of Neiphiu Rio, the longest serving Chief Minister of Nagaland. The plantation drive was attended by NDPP Wokha Region Parent body including Women, Agri & Allied and Youth Organization.
During the plantation drive, around one thousand tree saplings were planted along National Highway 2 from Rengma area border to Longsa village gate, Wokha. The plantation drive concluded with a vow to extend extensive support and work to strengthen the party under the prominent and visionary leadership of the Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
