Passengers travelling on a night bus from Mokokchung to Dimapur had a near escape from a calamitous accident as the bus nearly skidded off the road near 7th Mile along NH-2 (Impur Junction) Saturday evening at around 6:30 PM. There were about 27 passengers on board the bus. A passenger confirmed from the spot that it was near the location (Angetyongpang) where an ill-fated bus met with an accident in 2011 where a number of passengers lost their lives. (MTNews)
