New 33kV Longnak-Mangkolemba power line to be test charged on June 30; Public safety advisory issued

The newly constructed 33kV Longnak and Mangkolemba power line, which runs from the 2×25 MVA, 132/33kV Longnak Sub-station passing through Changki village and Athupumi village jurisdictions, is set to be test charged at its rated voltage on June 30, 2024, at 3:00 pm, and will remain charged thereafter.

Informing this in a press release, the Sub-Divisional Officer (E), Electrical Sub-Division Longnak, Er Arenlong said that the public are advised to avoid touching or approaching the power line to ensure their safety. Anybody doing so shall be doing at their own risk and the Department shall not be responsible for any untoward incident whatsoever, it was informed.
