Mokokchung, 03 October (MTNews): In yet another good news for football enthusiasts in Mokokchung, the Koridang Futsal Turf, located at the Aolichen Sector under Ungma Village, was inaugurated on Friday.
This state-of-the-art turf, the third of its kind in Mokokchung, was formally opened by the District Sports Officer, Mokokchung, Anguvito Sumi.
The Koridang Futsal Turf is owned and operated by a trio of enterprising brothers, Lipokunger Imsong, Temjen Imsong, and Imi Imsong. The brothers have come together to create a top-notch sports facility that is sure to become a hub for futsal enthusiasts in the area.
Koridang Futsal Turf will be accessible to football enthusiasts from 9 AM to 9 PM. The pricing structure for utilizing this new facility will be Rs 800 per hour during 9 AM to 4 PM and Rs 1000 per hour during 4 PM to 9 PM.
Situated within the CTC campus, the Koridang Futsal Turf boasts FIFA-approved turf, promising a high-quality playing surface. According to Lipokunger Imsong, one of the founders, this facility was constructed with the aim to promote sports and fitness in Mokokchung.
