Mokokchung, 29 October (MTNews): The newly appointed Nagaland State BJP President, Benjamin Yepthomi, commenced his first Official District Touring Program in Mon Town on Saturday.
Accompanied by his new State Office Bearers (SOB) team, the State BJP President arrived in Mon Town with his entourage and was accorded a warm reception by Mon District BJP party officials and Karyakartas, a press statement from the BJP Nagaland said.
Upon arrival at Mon, the State President held a series of meetings with Mon District BJP officials at Helsa Cottage, and held another public meeting at the residence of Wangpang Konyak, the Official NDPP Candidate for 43 Tapi Assembly Constituency bye-elections and thereafter met with Health & Family Welfare Minister Paiwang Konyak at his private residence.
The President also held another meeting with 43 Tapi A/C BJP Mandal and Booth Level officials at Ex-MLA Lanpha Konyak’s residence.
Yepthomi is set to conclude his district tour in Dimapur on 29 November.
