Dimapur, 27 April (MTNews): The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, GoI has invited applications from renowned scholars, who are interested to take up research oriented documentation works under North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur in the following fields: folk & tribal music & dances and vanishing art forms of north­east viz; Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim & Tripura.

 

The applicant, according to the ministry, should be an Indian citizen and indigenous inhabitant of the concerned State. The selection of the project proposals will be finalized by a panel of experts constituted by the NEZCC.

 

The application forms and other details have been asked to be collected from the Office of the Directorate of Art & Culture / Cultural Affairs, Government of the concerned State or Shiipgram, Panjabari, Guwahati and Headquarter Office, Dimapur. The form is also available in NEZCC website www.fiezccdimapur.org.in and www.facebook.com/NEZCC.

 

The last date for submission of the application is 28 July. Applications received thereafter will not be accepted.
Director, NEZCC shall have the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
