The Nagaland Football Coaches Association (NFCA) has issued a strong statement condemning the “process, inaction, and inadequately slow outcome” in the investigation of the hit-and-run case that led to the untimely demise of coach William Koso.
In a press release issued by its President Roko Angami and General Secretary Ayeto Ayemi, the NFCA expressed deep dissatisfaction over the lack of progress in the case and urged the concerned authorities and departments to expedite the investigation and “bring to light the full picture” of the incident.
The association also voiced strong opposition to the reported bail granted to the accused, stating, “We earnestly reject the bail said to be granted to the accused by the concerned authorities.”
The NFCA cautioned that the continued delay and perceived lack of justice could provoke public outrage and backlash. “The NFCA warns of consequences that may arise due to hurt sentiments leading to public disturbances if the case is not properly settled in the eyes of the Justice, colleagues, well wishers and family members,” the statement read.
