A massive landslide near Unger Village on Wednesday, September 14, completely cut off the National Highway-02 (NH-02) that connects Mokokcung to Amguri.
It was reported that many vehicles including commercial trucks, night buses and private vehicles were left stranded.
According to a PWD official, soon after the landslide, excavators were pressed into action to clear the road. The official said that the National Highway is now cleared of the landslide.
