NIDA-Government meeting ends in deadlock

A meeting between the Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA) Executive Members and the Chief Secretary, Government of Nagaland on Saturday has ended in a deadlock. NIDA informed in a press release that the meeting was held at at 1:00 pm at the Chief Secretary’s Conference Hall where the NIDA Executives explained their demand of “62 years superannuation without any criteria/condition and to remove the re-employment from the Notification NO.HFW-5/A/1/2007 III/602 Dated Kohima, the 15th July, 2022.”

 

The ongoing agitation of the Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA) entered the second day on Saturday. Seen in the picture are members of the NIDA Mokokchung Unit during their agitation on Saturday at IMDH Mokokchung.

“However, our meeting outcome ended with a deadlock,” NIDA said.

 

Following this, NIDA has hinted that the agitation would continue by informing all the Health Units to strictly maintain the advisory given by NIDA on October 25, 2022 till further information from its office.
