The first Nienutsomi Connect 2025, an event acknowledging the community’s shared ancestry, heritage and bond will be held on November 29, 2025, at 10 AM at Rikhuba Tu, Chesezu village, under Phek district.
According to an update from the Organising Committee, senior legislator and former Leader of the NPF Legislature Party, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, will attend the event as the Session Speaker.
During the programme, Venuzo, Chairman of the Nienutsomi Welfare Organisation (NWO), will deliver the introductory notes, while short speeches will be delivered by Ariyi, Advisor, NWO; Shievotso, Advisor, NWO; Sanuzo, Director, Department of Agriculture, Nagaland; Dr. Vasapra, Project Co-ordinator, Planning and Transformation Department, Nagaland; Husucho; Thepukrayi; Dr. Cthitu, EAC, Chozuba; Mulenyi, VCC Chesezu; Nasa and others.
Vetacho, Convenor, Research Committee, NWO, Veta will present the General Secretary report and lead the attendees for adoption of resolution and Shevohu, Convenor, Finance Committee, NWO, will present reports, among other highlights of the event.
The Organising Committee has informed all Nienutsomi citizens from across different geographical locations to positively attend this significant event to reconnect, reminisce and strengthen the roots together.
