Dimapur, August 24 (MTNews): Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs, Nirmala Sitharaman inaugurated the Dialysis Unit at Dimapur District Hospital on Wednesday.
The dialysis unit of the District hospital has four functional dialysis machines with a capacity of up to 60 sessions per day. The Dialysis Unit was established under the aegis of the Government of Nagaland, sponsored by Boeing India, and will be implemented by Doctors For You in collaboration with the Department of Health and Family Welfare and IDAN. The Dialysis Centre will be jointly managed by the Hospital Management Society of District Hospital Dimapur and Doctors For You initially for 10 years.
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy CM, Y. Patton, and a host of ministers and legislators attended the inauguration program.
