The Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) has issued an order directing that no “national worker” shall involve or interfere in the upcoming Koridang by-election under Mokokchung district.
In the order issued by Secretary to the GPRN, Q Swu, it was stated that the directive has been issued “as directed by the competent authority” and is to be complied with strictly.
The order mandates that national workers must not participate in or attempt to influence the by-election process in any manner.
It further warned that any national worker found violating the directive will be penalized in accordance with the ‘Azha’ of the GPRN.
The directive comes ahead of the Koridang by-election, stressing non-interference in the electoral process.
