Kohima, February 1 (MTNews): The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Nagaland has informed that, as received from the respective Returning Officers for the entire 60 Assembly Constituencies in Nagaland, no candidate has filed nomination on the second day i.e 1st February to contest in the ensuing Nagaland general election.
Dates for filing of nominations for Nagaland assembly election began on Tuesday and will close on February 7. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be on February 8 while the last date for withdrawal of candidatures is February 10.
