Noklak signed off their Dr. T Ao Trophy 2025 campaign in emphatic fashion, defeating Longleng 3-0 in their final Group B match on Friday morning.
The early kick-off at 9:00 AM saw Noklak hit the ground running, with Thangsoi M opening the scoring in just the 7th minute. Longleng attempted to regroup, but Noklak’s high tempo and organised pressing kept them on the back foot.
In the second half, Thangsoi doubled his tally in the 51st minute, calmly slotting home to all but seal the result. Seven minutes later, Lamsong L added a third with a composed finish.
While both sides ended their tournament journey with this fixture, Chümoukedima and Dimapur secured progression to the knockout stage from Group B. The match concluded with both teams uniting in prayer, a gesture of gratitude and sportsmanship marking their farewell to the competition.
