Mokokchung district won the Gold medal in the Men’s volleyball competition on the last day of the Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024 after defeating Dimapur in the final match with the score line 25-19, 18-25, 25-18.
Tongpangsunep, Bendangtemsu, Watineken, Reshitemjen , Imliakum, and Sademmeren (libero) from Mokokchung were also selected to represent Nagaland state in the forthcoming NE Olympic Games 2024 to be held in March.
