Chumoukedima, August 3 (MTNews): The North Eastern Regional Multidisciplinary College of Paramedical Sciences at CIHSR agenda and the renaming of Vision Home Higher Secondary School as Vision Higher Secondary School were both recommended at the 2nd DPDB meeting for Chumoukedima, which was held on Wednesday in the conference hall of DC Chumoukedima. The proposal to shift Kemnbay School from Diphupar B to Tenyiphe-I Chumoukedima was also approved by the House.

 

 

ADC Chumoukedima requested that all departments prepare a vision plan for the Chumoukedima district within this month after reviewing the minutes from the most recent DPDB meeting. The House also agreed that the DPDB Chumoukedima meeting would be conducted on the third of every month, or the subsequent day if the specified date falls on Sundays or the second Saturday.

 

The project director for District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) also presented a brief description of the mandate and requirements for the DISHA meeting by DRDA.

 

While chairing the 2nd DPDB meeting for Chumoukedima, Zhaleo Rio, advisor for sericulture, excise, and minority affairs and head of the district planning and development board, urged the Chumoukedima District’s Officers to distribute the allotted funds judiciously and transparently.

 

Additionally, he requested the concerned departments to inform the local elected members of the department’s activities so that they are aware of the schemes and projects the departments undertake for the welfare of the people. Zhaleo also reminded the officers to help and guide the public as the district was created for public convenience.

 

Zhaleo expressed his admiration for the full house attendance in the meeting and encouraged them to continue with the trend in the days to come as well.

 

In order to make Chumoukedima the best district in Nagaland, MLA Azheto, who was also present at the meeting, advised the participants to give their best effort and cooperation. Azheto urged the officers tobe sincere in guiding and helping the public. The meeting ended with a note of thanks from the chair.
