Mokokchung, October 24 (MTNews): Note Grid School of Music, Mokokchung on Monday felicitated 26 students at Urban Hub Cafe, Mokokchung.

Senti Imchen, Administrator, Note Grid School of Music, Mokokchung, remarked during her welcome address that the school was established in Dimapur in February 2010 by proprietor Longden Longkumer to help aspiring musicians. She noted that the school branch in Mokokchung was established in 2021 to meet the demands of Mokokchung and the neighboring districts with providing international certification in music.   The school was pleased to accredit 20 students via ‘Rockschool, UK’ and 6 students through ‘Trinity College London,’ said Imchen.

Bendangakum Kichu, on behalf of the faculty of Note Grid School of Music Mokokchung, congratulated all the students. He complimented the parents’ tremendous support for displaying interest in music education and valued their attendance, noting that “it is uncommon to see such support from parents pursuing music education.” “Like a seed, the instructor can teach, advice, and sculpt you, but the duty for nurturing the seed is on you,” he told the students.

Sharing his ideas on the contrast of skills and hard effort, he stated that people frequently misinterpret the meaning of both, he stated that skill alone cannot lead to success and that it must be accompanied by hard effort, devotion, and consistency, and he insisted on learning something new every day. “The world is for those who work hard; competition breeds failure; and avoid comparison,” he said.

“In the sphere of music, one needs a truck load of patience, determination, and tolerance as many techniques are followed, one needs to support oneself and appreciate the abilities of the people around one in the road of achievement,” he said.
