Kohima, 4 September (MTNews): In continuation of a previous notification issued on 8 August 2023, the Directorate of Technical Education has informed students who have applied for the Post-Matric Scholarship and Merit-cum-Means based scholarship scheme for the session 2022-23 under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, GOI through National Scholarship Portal that the Ministry has allowed to authenticate the bio-metric of students outside their Institute District/ States.

 

Students who wish to authenticate their bio-metric outside their Institute District/ State will be given one-time irreversible opportunity to opt for this facility from 4-6 September 2023 (11:00AM- 7:00PM) in their NSP login. Students will have to choose the State / District of their choice and shall have to upload documents as reflected in the NSP.

 

Students have been advised to avail this facility carefully as once they choose to authenticate outside Institute District/State, they will not be able to authenticate at the institute.

 

Further, interested students have been directed to report on 7 and 8 September 2023 at the Conference Hall of the Directorate of Technical Education, Kohima for bio-authentication. HOI/INO of the Institutes have been advised to take special care in re-verification of these applications.
