NPCC to hold ‘yatra’ on November 19

Dimapur, November 15 (MTNews): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) will be staging a ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra Nagaland State’ on November 19 from DC Court junction Dimapur to Chumukedima 1st gate covering a distance of 18 kms.

 

The march will coincide with Indira Gandhi’s birthday, informed the NPCC’s Joint Coordinators for the Yatra in Nagaland.

 

Joint Coordinators of ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra Nagaland State’, Rajesh Kumar Sethi and Akavi N Zhimomi, while addressing a press conference at Congress Bhavan in Dimapur said that the ‘yatra’ is not for politics but to fight against communalism, unemployment, inflation, and political centralisation. According to him, equality, justice and secularism are under threat from the BJP.
