The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has convened an emergency meeting of its Central Executive Council (CEC) on September 6, 2025, at the party’s central office in Kohima. The meeting will begin at 11:00 AM, according to a notification issued by NPF Secretary General and MLA Achumbemo Kikon.
The primary agenda of the meeting is to deliberate on measures to strengthen the party both at the grassroots and central levels.
In the notice, the Secretary General stated that the meeting has been called in exercise of powers conferred under Clause 3 of Article V and Clause 3(C)(II) of Article IV of the NPF Constitution.
All members of the Central Executive Council have been asked to attend the meeting positively.
