The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has lauded the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR), the Sümi Hoho, all tribal hohos, civil society organizations, church leaders, and Naga Political Groups (NPGs) for successfully organizing the historic Reconciliation Meet in Zunheboto on September 27, 2025.
In a statement, the NPF said the adoption of the Zunheboto Resolution marks an important step for the Naga people on the path to peace and unity. The party appreciated the courage and responsibility shown by all participants in committing to forgiveness, stopping hostilities, and working together for One Naga Machang, calling such cooperation essential for creating a common political voice that reflects the hopes of all Nagas.
The party also welcomed the spiritual dimension of the initiative, including calls for prayer and reflection throughout October. ”True reconciliation starts in the hearts of individuals, and this spiritual focus will guide the Naga people toward a fair and honorable political solution,” the NPF stated.

Highlighting the recent five-year extension of the ban on the NSCN-K by the Government of India, the NPF said all conflicts can be resolved through dialogue. The party urged the government to actively engage all Naga political groups, including those currently outside the peace process, to reach a durable and honorable settlement of the long-standing Naga political issue.
As a regional political party committed to peace and dialogue, the NPF reaffirmed its support for efforts that strengthen Naga unity and a shared, peaceful future, urging every tribe, organization, and political group to uphold the spirit of the Ungma and Zunheboto Resolutions.
