The Naga People’s Front (NPF) on Thursday expressed gratitude to its members from Nagaland, Manipur, and Arunachal Pradesh, as well as to the Naga public and believers, for their active participation and prayers that contributed to the success of the General Convention cum 63rd Foundation Day held at Indira Gandhi Stadium.
The party expressed satisfaction over the smooth transition following the merger of the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) into the NPF, describing it as a step forward in “strengthening unity and regional political collaboration.”
In a statement, the NPF reaffirmed its commitment to working tirelessly for the welfare of the Naga people, with a focus on progress, development, and addressing pressing issues. The party emphasized its dedication to expediting a solution to the long-standing Naga political issue, aiming for an outcome that is honourable, acceptable, and inclusive.
The party also pledged to carry forward the aspirations and dreams of its past visionary leaders, translating their legacy into reality for the benefit of the Naga people.
In addition, the NPF called on newly elected party leaders to renew hope, uphold the spirit of unity, and champion the interests of the Naga people. The party stressed the importance of working together in addressing challenges and reiterated its commitment to serving the people and promoting overall development.
