Mokokchung, February 25 (MTNews): The Naga People’s Front (NPF), Mokokchung Division, held its annual general meeting today at the Conference Hall of the NPF Divisional Office, Mokokchung, wherein the party adopted 4 resolutions.

President of NPF Mokokchung Division, Moasangba Jamir, while welcoming the NPF party workers from the 10 assembly constituencies of Mokokchung district, encouraged them to re-strengthen and get ready for the next Nagaland legislative assembly general election.

 

President, Farmers’ Wing, NPF Central, Lanukaba, encouraged the party workers to work sincerely for the party according to the political scenario and situation.

 

The NPF Divisional general meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Mr. Tangit Imsong, General Secretary, Administration, NPF Mokokchung Division, also reviewed the party set up in the grassroots level. All the 10 assembly constituency office bearers attended the general meeting.

 

Resolutions adopted:

1. Naga People’s Front (NPF) Mokokchung Division resolve to stand firm and uphold the principles of the Party.
2. NPF Mokokchung Division appreciate the tall leadership of Imkong L Imchen, In-charge of NPF Mokokchung Division.
3. NPF Mokokchung Division congratulate Mr. TR Zeliang for being appointed chairman of the UDA. NPF Mokokchung Division also thank the Chief Minister of Nagaland for awarding Cabinet Minister berth to Mr. Y.M. Yallow, NPF MLA and further congratulate the Minister for the new assignment.
4. NPF Mokokchung Division support the decision of the NPF Working Committee headed by Dr. Shurhozelie Lizietsü, President, NPF Central for inviting all regional forces to unite.
