NPF, Nagaland Governor extend Tuluni greetings to Sümi community

The Naga People’s Front (NPF) and the Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, have extended greetings to the Sümi Naga community and the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Tuluni, the premier festival of the Sümi tribe.

In a message issued by the Press Bureau of the NPF Central Headquarters, Kohima, the party conveyed its warmest wishes, describing Tuluni as a celebration of togetherness, gratitude, and abundance that reflects the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the Sümi people.

“May this festival strengthen the bonds of love and unity, and bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to every household,” the statement read. The NPF also called on all Nagas to embrace the spirit of Tuluni by renewing their commitment to harmony and working collectively for the progress and well-being of the people.

Meanwhile, Governor La Ganesan, in his festival message, acknowledged Tuluni as a time of thanksgiving that celebrates hard work, unity, and prosperity. “It is also a moment to strengthen bonds of kinship and reaffirm our shared values of peace and goodwill,” the Governor stated, wishing joy, harmony, and renewed strength to everyone during the festive season.
