The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Phek Division conducted an oath-taking ceremony on December 13 for newly appointed Assembly Constituency office bearers and frontal wings, including youth, women, and farmers, covering the 16th Pfutsero, 17th Chizami, 18th Chozuba, and 19th Phek Assembly Constituencies. The event was held at TT Hall, Pfutsero Town.
Vedunyi Khesoh, Vice President of NPF Phek Division, chaired the programme, while Rev. Dr. T. Kapfo offered prayers for the event.
In his welcome address, Api Vadeo, Working President of NPF Phek Division, encouraged all party members to work together to strengthen the party. He urged members to maintain discipline and function as a unified force in support of the party’s objectives.
K. Puro, Vice President of the Central Office Bearers (COB) NPF, delivered a short speech requesting all Assembly Constituency leaders to take the party oath with loyalty and commitment. He emphasised that all party members should be treated equally.
The second oath-taking ceremony for Division office bearers and frontal wings was conducted by Supoyi Vezhu, Working President of the Central Youth Wing NPF, while Chubutse Naro, President of NPF Phek Division, administered the oath for the Assembly Constituency representatives.
Kesilo, Vice President of NPF Phek Division, proposed the vote of thanks, bringing the programme to a close.
