An oath-taking and installation programme cum Advent Christmas programme of the NPF Pughoboto Division was held on December 15 at the Pughoboto Town Hall. The oath was administered to the office bearers by Anungba Imsong, Senior Vice President of the NPF and COB-in-charge of Pughoboto Assembly Constituency.

Office bearers from the parent body, Women Wing, Youth Wing and Farmers Wing were administered the oath.

Delivering the welcome address, Viyikhu Q Wotsa, President of the NPF Pughoboto Division, thanked the central leadership led by Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio and NPF Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon, stating that the party has grown stronger under their guidance and leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Anungba Imsong said the NPF is deeply rooted in Naga history and urged party workers to extend full support to the dynamic, young and capable leadership of Y Vikheho Swu. He also called upon members to work towards enhancing development in the region.

Former minister and President of the NPF Central Farmers Wing, Y Vikheho Swu, stated, “we are back to where we belong,” and said the NPF has guided the Naga people thus far and will continue to lead them forward. He urged party workers to educate voters about government development initiatives, engage with the public, and communicate these activities effectively.

Members of the NPF Central Office Bearers also attended the programme. The event concluded with a fellowship meal.
