NPF reaffirms commitment to peaceful resolution of Naga political issue
Addressing the 3rd Oath-taking Ceremony of party office bearers at the NPF Central Office, Secretary General and MLA Achumbemo Kikon said the party has “consistently pursued” a peaceful approach to resolving the long-standing issue, as envisioned by its founders.

“We believe in resolving the Naga political issue through peaceful means, which is honourable, acceptable, and inclusive,” Kikon stated. “We will consistently continue to pursue a negotiated settlement.”

Kikon underscored the importance of discipline, unity, and hard work among party members, cautioning that the NPF will take necessary action against those who fail to uphold these principles.

He said the party remains committed to its core ideology and philosophy, adding that it will continue to prioritize programs that benefit people at the grassroots level, including villages.

Highlighting the NPF’s past initiatives, Kikon noted that the party introduced several welfare-oriented schemes such as the Village Development Board and the Local Area Development Program, which he said have “benefited the people and villages” across Nagaland.
