The Naga People’s Front has on Tuesday resolved to reiterate the party’s stand for an “honourable, acceptable and inclusive” Naga political solution. The resolution was taken during the meeting of the Working Committee of NPF in Kohima.

The party observed that any solution that is to be arrived at on the on-going political negotiation needs to be seriously examined before finalizing. It said that past agreements and accords did not produce desired results but led to more divisions amongst the Nagas.

NPF President, Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, in this regard, maintained that it does not or will not take sides with any group but “maintain proper understanding with all conflicting groups by telling them the truth.” He said that it is high time for every Naga to realize the ground realities.

During the meeting, the NPF also resolved to revamp and re-strengthen the Party at all levels. In this respect, the party has invited all well-wishers to come forward and associate with the party activities in order to take the Naga people forward stating that Nagas are going through a very critical phase.
