Mokokchung, 22 September (MTNews): President of the National People’s Party (NPP) Kiphire Division, Nagaland, Tsasemong Sangtam breathed his last today after a brief illness at Faith Hospital, Dimapur. Following his untimely demise, the NPP National General Secretary and I/C Frontal Organization, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema and the party’s MLA from 59 Seyochung Sitimi A/C, Kiphire District and Chairman, DPDB, Kiphire, C Kipili Sangtam have condoled the untimely demise of Late S Tsasemong.
Terming Late Tsasemong as a God fearing and upright person, Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema in his condolence message stated that his loss has not only left a deep void in his family, but has also unfortunately taken away a righteous leader from our society in general and from NPP Nagaland in particular. He stated that till his final breath Late Tsasemong served his people and the NPP truthfully and diligently and proved himself to be one of the best serving and most active District Presidents of the party.
Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema also said that Late Tsasemong was also one of the most elemental persons behind the successful conduct of the last Assembly Election in Kiphire District and for the thumping victory of the party’s candidate from 59 Seyochung Sitimi A/C, C Kipili Sangtam. He further called upon the NPP party workers of Kiphire District to keep Late Tsasemong’s legacy alive in their daily upkeeps and duties towards the party and the district.
Meanwhile, C Kipili Sangtam has expressed deep shock and sadness on the demise of Late S Tsasemong and termed him as a renowned and highly regarded leader of Kiphire District. According to him, with the demise of Late S Tsasemong, the party has lost a great leader with dynamic personality and that his ideology of inclusive development will always be remembered.
Both Dr Andrew Ahoto Sema and C Kipili Sangtam prayed for the departed soul and offered their deepest condolences to the family members of the deceased.
