National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland State Working President, Dr Tsielhoutuo (Ato) Rhutso, today inaugurated the office of the NPP Kohima District at Jail Colony, Kohima.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ato, MLA of 9th Kohima Town AC, said he wanted the office to “become a centre of unity, happiness and progress.”
Thanking the blessings of party leaders and workers for his successful journey in politics, Dr. Ato assured that he would give his best to ensure the NPP “remains comfortable.”
Touching on the latest political developments in the state, he called upon the party’s rank and file to have patience and stay strong. He also informed that the NPP, under National President Conrad K. Sangma, is part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government.
NPP Kohima District President, Dr Keviseto Kintso, urged party leaders and workers to reaffirm their commitment towards the party’s ideology and to promote unity and peace. He also called upon them to uphold the principles and ideology of the party, “so that we can take forward our dream and goal ahead,” he said.
The program was chaired by Neituo Metha, General Secretary (IPR & Protocol), while the vote of thanks was proposed by Ako Zhasa, General Secretary (Administration).
