Dimapur, August 14 (MTNews): In keeping up with the traditions of general welfare for the common people, the National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland conducted various activities as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (Celebrating 75 Years of Indian Independence). The party’s State Minority Cell (Non-Tribal) conducted a charitable distribution of food and other house holders building essentials to the Fire Victims of Master Colony and to the patients of Dimapur District Hospital on the 12th of August 2022.
Continuing with its noble efforts, the State NPYF (youth wing of NPP) also visited some of the Rehabilitation Centres in and around Dimapur including the Shalom Rehabilitation Centre, the Bethesda Youth Welfare Centre and Life Change Mission Centre. The visit to these centres was conducted on 13th and 14th of August 2022.
During the course of their visit, they spent quality time with the inmates and interacted with them as well as the staff of the rehab centres. They also distributed food items and essentials to the inmates during the visit.
The NPP State Women Wing also took up the onus of reaching out to the populace by conducting various activities at the IHSDP Urban Complex, Burma Camp, Dimapur on the 14th of August 2022.
During their reach out program, the volunteers of the State Women Wing conducted free Oral Health Screening and Awareness Camp, Tree Plantation Drive and distributed food items and other essentials to the residents of the complex.
In continuing with this noble mission, the NPP Nagaland is going to conduct such activities at all the district levels too which will also include visits to all the District Jails on 15th of August 2022.
