The National Socialist Council of Nagalim/Government of the People’s Republic of Nagalim (Eastern Flank) has announced the introduction of “a system of tax collection together with a permit mechanism governing the movement and distribution of all essential articles and commodities” within Nagalim.
The notification, dated 25th September 2025, states that the measure has been undertaken in the larger interest of the Naga people and to further the collective national cause.
“It is therefore earnestly requested that all concerned extend their fullest support, cooperation, and compliance with this directive,” the notification stated.
Lieut. Gen. A Raman, Eastern Flank, Naga Army, expressed appreciation for the contributions and sacrifices of the people and assured that their cooperation would be acknowledged and remembered with gratitude and honour.
