Mokokchung, September 7 (MTNews): NSCN/GPRN (Niki) and the Government of India have extended the ceasefire agreement for another year with effect from September 7, 2022 to September 7, 2023. The ceasefire was first signed on September 8, 2021.
According to a press release, a delegation of NSCN/GPRN CFSB team led by Supervisor, Abel Zingrü Thuer signed the pact of ceasefire extension with the centre today at The Hotel Ashoka, New Delhi.
The group left for Delhi on Monday to hold meeting with Government of India officials in connection with the extension of the cease-fire agreement.
