The NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) has terminated the service of Maj Chomangli Mongzar, also known as Aliba, citing repeated “unlawful activities” allegedly detrimental to the organisation’s principles.
In a press release issued by its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), the NSCN/GPRN-R said Mongzar, Naga Army number 30230, son of Hopongse of Sangsomong village, had been served several warnings before the termination.
The order, signed and dated by Maj Gen Howoto Yeptho, Commander-in-Chief of the Naga Army, takes immediate effect, the release stated.
The organisation further warned Mongzar against interfering in its affairs and cautioned the public against entertaining him, stating that he was “no longer associated with us anymore”.
The NSCN/GPRN-R (Akato) issued the statement through its Ministry of Information and Publicity.
