The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) has issued a clarification regarding a viral fictitious budget circulating on Facebook and WhatsApp concerning the expenditure for the Ato Kilonser’s home visit, scheduled for October 22, 2025.
In a statement issued on October 7, the NSCN termed it “utterly absurd” to suggest that the organization or the concerned committee would produce or disclose such a budget publicly.
“The circulated budget is fictitious and appears to be a deliberate tactic employed by adversaries with malicious intentions,” the statement read.
The NSCN categorically denied having prepared any such budget for the Ato Kilonser’s home visit and cautioned the public against being misled by misinformation on social media.
The clarification was issued by the Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), NSCN/GPRN.
Meanwhile, in another clarification issued on Tuesday, the NSCN/GRPN through its MIP stated that the “Eastern Flank and Hebron camp, NSCN remain as a solid body and no such thing as made to believe by what is being circulated in social media platform.”
It added that “undesirable elements are resorting to this kind of miserable game for vested interests.”
