The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-IM) on Tuesday asserted that the Molham Kuki village is the main base of the Kuki militants, refuting the statement of Manipur Police that BSF Coys will be housed in the village as “ridiculously misleading.”
“NSCN is not blind to this. Our stand is open for public scrutiny and verification,” the NSCN-IM said in a statement issued by its MIP.
“If BSF coys is to be established in Molham Kuki village, then the collusion of the Centre and state governments with the Kuki militants is an established fact as made to believe for many years,” it added.

“For public awareness of the factual situation we have the courage to stand that there is no such CRPF or BSF in Molham Kuki village,” the NSCN-IM maintained.
It stated that the village only housed Kuki militants that numbered around 200. It further maintained that Molham village being used as the headquarters of the Kuki militants is an “open secret” and anybody can cross check it from the spot.
“If the Manipur Police stands by their version that BSF Coys will be based in Molham Kuki village, it establishes another fact that Kuki militants would be based there disguised as BSF boys.
Another conclusion forced on us is that BSF Coys there to guard the Kuki militants from Naga Army attack,” it added.
It accused Manipur Police of deliberately not showing up “accountability” and “transparency,” adding that “they can fool the Nagas in particular and the general public for sometimes, but not always.”
The NSCN-IM also pointed out that one Bihar Regiment camp is located at Karong river. “It is not a CRPF camp. This is where Manipur Police is caught misleading the public with their concocted statement that those trucks are for CRPF at Molham Kuki village when there is no CRPF camp around there,” it said.
It further called upon the Manipur Police to break the ‘trust deficit’ and re-establish its credibility.
