The GPRN/NSCN, led by Ato Kilonser N Kitovi Zhimomi, held its 46th Republic Day celebration at 5th Mile Chumoukedima, where the program was chaired by AG Secretary F Pongba Konyak and recorded by Joint Secretary Renathung Lotha.

The celebration was invoked by Chaplain Nochotole Yosa, followed by the flag-hoisting moment initiated by Maj (Rtd) RM Lotha.

The welcome address was given by Kilo Kilonser Hukavi Yepthomi, who warmly welcomed everyone and spoke on the importance of the 46th Republic Day celebration and its significance.

The presidential speech was delivered by His Excellency Maj (Retd) RM Lotha, where he stressed that the Government of India would bear sole responsibility for any fallout from a delayed solution and called for Naga unity to find a peaceful solution to the Indo-Naga conflict.

A special song was performed by Lansobeni Tungoe, followed by a strong message on the present political scenario from Ato Kilonser N Kitovi Zhimomi. He emphasized that there would be only one political solution and agreement, and the Working Committee and signatories would uphold the “agreed position” until the end, as no new negotiations are possible.

The declaration of army ranks and obituary report were given by Keeya Secretary Kuwoto Yesca, followed by a vote of thanks from Secretary PR&NGO’s Pikato Achumi. The celebration concluded with a benediction prayer offered by Assistant Chaplain Apong, followed by a feast.
